Annie Claire Nadeau-Fredette

Dr Nadeau-Fredette et son équipe s’intéressent à la morbidité et mortalité associées à l’hémodialyse à domicile, la dialyse péritonéale et aux périodes de transition, notamment par l’évaluation de bases de données nationales et internationales.

De plus, elle et son équipe évaluent les changements de qualité de vie et de fragilité (frailty) et des autres résultats rapportés par les patients (patient-reported outcomes [PRO]) durant le continuum de l’insuffisance rénale terminale, et plus spécifiquement durant les périodes de transitions.

Dr Nadeau-Fredette a reçu son doctorat de médecine en 2007 et a terminé sa résidence en néphrologie en 2012, à l’Université de Montréal. Elle a complété une formation complémentaire en dialyse à domicile à l’Université de Toronto (2013) et en recherche clinique à l’Université du Queensland (2015). Elle a obtenu une Maitrise en Sciences biomédicales, recherche clinique à l’Université de Montréal en 2016. 

Ses principaux intérêts de recherche portent sur la dialyse à domicile et les périodes de transition en insuffisance rénale terminale.

Dr Nadeau-Fredette est Professeure agrégée de clinique à l’Université de Montréal et néphrologue au CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal (Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont) et à l’Institut de cardiologie de Montréal. Elle est directrice des programmes de dialyse à domicile (dialyse péritonéale et hémodialyse à domicile) à l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont.
